Embracing Returning Citizens as Entrepreneurship Teams Discussion FULL

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity full
Adding this to your schedule will put you on the waitlist.

Between 60%-75% of ex-offenders are unemployed a year after their release. Is entrepreneurship an answer to America's high recidivism rate? Explore the organizations and people helping returning citizens' path from prison to self-sufficiency.

The event will start with 60 second overviews of each organization, business or speaker. Each organization will be stationed at a table where attendees can sit and talk intimately about the speaker's story. Every 15 mins attendees will have a chance to switch to a different table. The goal is to have real, small group connection where the conversation flows organically for each group in order to break the barriers associated with returning citizens.

A light buffet is included. The bar will be open for purchase. Seating is limited.

+Presented by Human Scale Studio, a consultancy firm transforming cities by putting people first and Launch Exchange, dedicated to growing social enterprise in Detroit and beyond.
