Frank Romo is a community activist, entrepreneur, and urban planner from Los Angeles,
California. He works with cities and organizations across the U.S. to organize communities,
build technology, and train leaders to fight for justice. Frank is passionate about inspiring
activists and young leaders to make a change in their communities using technology and
community organizing tactics to challenge the status quo. Frank is the CEO of RomoGIS
Enterprises: a data, design, and research collaborative aimed at promoting the public good
through innovative technical solutions and community-driven research. Frank enjoys teaching and currently leads multiple
mentorship programs centered around professional development and promoting diversity in
technology. In his personal and professional practice, Frank seeks to develop the next
generation of technology and innovation leaders by empowering young people of color with the
data tools and skills to become better-informed change-makers in their communities.
