Chris Nemeth has thirty-five years of business and leadership experience throughout the United States and Virgin Islands in the areas of Sales, Marketing, Organizational Development, Training, Product and Market Development and Social Enterprise. He has a B.A in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a M.A. in Marketing from Webster University in St. Louis, Mo. Chris is a veteran of the Michigan Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve.Chris is currently the President of Hopeful Harvest, a social enterprise subsidiary of Forgotten Harvest and Senior Director of Social Enterprise for Forgotten Harvest, one of the nation’s largest Fresh Food rescue organizations.In his current role, Chris is responsible for the development, launch and growth of Hopeful Harvest, a full service small food business accelerator serving metro Detroit, the development and launch of Forgotten Harvest branded and co-branded food products, which will be available in retailers throughout Michigan and the Midwest, and the development and implementation of a workforce development program based on the food industry and serving veterans and employment challenged individuals throughout metro Detroit.
